HIKE:
Join us as we head to Elfin Forest for our July hike along the Way Up Trail. This 2.2-mile loop trail takes you through one of San Diego County’s most precious natural resources, the Elfin Forest Reserve. Elfin Forest provides scenic mountain viewing points and includes such native plant communities as oak riparian, oak woodland, coastal sage scrub, and chaparral. Includes elevation changes and steep inclines. Difficulty level: Moderately Challenging.
WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve. The Reserve is a popular facility and parking is limited. On weekends and holidays, please consider carpooling or taking a ridesharing service.
WHEN: Sunday, July 13, 2025 3:30pm
DIFFICULTY: Moderately Challenging
DOG-FRIENDLY: Yes, if your dog is on leash at all times, in control, and has no barking or aggressive actions even with other dogs.
