IVY+ Event: The MIT Club of San Diego & Penn Club of San Diego invite you to a sweet virtual event on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. Join the two Clubs and the Ivy Plus community for a virtual chocolate tasting and educational workshop with the small, eco-friendly business, Laughing Gull Chocolates.
Participants please register on this page and at Laughing Gull to order a chocolate kit by January 20th. Please feel free to wear red, pink and white to celebrate love and positive energy! The Zoom link will be sent closer to the event. You may participate without ordering the chocolates, however they are highly encouraged. The cost of each box including shipping is approximately $36, depending on shipping destination.
Laughing Gull Chocolates provides high-quality, organic chocolates made with locally and transparently sourced ingredients. Join the Ivy+ Group for a trip around the globe, and learn the ins and outs of chocolate tasting while sampling chocolate made with cacao grown all over the world! Includes 8 samples and a cacao bean. Enjoy an hour-long presentation and discussion about the samples. Topics include the harvest and production of cacao, crafting of chocolate, ethical sourcing and environment, history of cacao, and social justice.
