Smart Dawgs--Ivy+ Running Club (Hosted by Columbia Alumni of San Diego) REBORN! Mark is back from his deployment and ready to help us train for a race! 

Inviting all Ivy League Plus Alumni to the new and improved run club! All skill levels are welcomed! The purpose of the club remains the same--to have fun while networking with one another. We will be meeting every first Saturday of the month and will train for a 2026 race that we can all run together. Please RSVP for each monthly race individually, so that we know how many people to expect.

The theme of our run club is New York City! We will pay homage to the best city in the world. We will run in San Diego's version of Central Park, Mission Bay, and journey our way into Pacific Beach, or San Diego's East Village equivalent. At the end will enjoy delicious bagels at Spill the Beans in Pacific Beach.

We will meet at Crown Point Park, December 6th at 8AM and we run to Spill the Beans (980 Garnet Ave) getting there at roughly 8:45AM. Total roundtrip mileage is about 5 miles, but we will only be running to the cafe, so a 2.5- mile run.

Runners will have the option to continue to run or walk back to the park after breakfast. Runners are encouraged to wear NYC related gear, such as sports jerseys, "I <3 NYC", or Columbia gear.

We will also reveal the culminating race we are training for at the end of this meeting!
