CAASD Community Outreach: Saturday, April 23, 2022

Please join us and volunteer to celebrate clean beaches, parks, rivers, and trails.  We will participate with the “I Love A Clean San Diego” Organization in their “20th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup” on Saturday, April 23.

CAASD will help to clean-up and remove litter, debris, and invasive plants along Lower Rose Creek at Mission Bay High School, Pacific Beach starting at 9:00 am and finishing around 11:30 am.  Please bring your work gloves, buckets, and your reusable water bottles to fill up; wear long pants and sturdy, comfortable shoes. 

This is a family-friendly event; children welcome!

Time: 9:00 am – 11:30 am for clean-up
Location: Lower Rose Creek at Mission Bay High School, Pacific Beach
Directions: I-5, exit Garnet Ave/Balboa Ave (CA-274); merge onto Mission Bay Drive, head west on Grand Avenue
Park in the Student Parking Lot at 2475 Grand Avenue, San Diego, CA 92109

Meeting Point: Mission Bay High School Faculty Parking (east lot along Grand Ave)
Meeting Time: 8:45 am for refreshments by the CAASD Banner in parking lot
