Posted by Join the thrill of hands-on conservation in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve with the Lagoon Platoon! All the tools for restoration are provided and gardening experience is not necessary. Each Lagoon Platoon event is led by a San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy biologist.
On April 21, San Elijo Lagoon will partner with the “I Love A Clean San Diego” organization as CAASD volunteers tackle invasive weeds, remove debris, and improve trails. Gloves, trash bags, and refreshments will be provided. If you wish, you can bring your own working gloves and a bucket. This is a family-friendly event; children welcome!
