Join the thrill of hands-on conservation in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve with the Lagoon Platoon! All the tools for restoration are provided and gardening experience is not necessary. Each Lagoon Platoon event is led by a San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy biologist.
On May 20, CAASD volunteers will tackle invasive weeds and plant native species, remove debris, and improve trails. Gloves, trash bags, and refreshments will be provided. If you wish, you can bring your own working gloves and a bucket. This is a family-friendly event; children welcome!
