Columbia Community Outreach: Saturday, March 16, 2019
Join the thrill of hands-on conservation in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve with the Lagoon Platoon! All the tools for restoration are provided and gardening experience is not necessary. Each Lagoon Platoon event is led by a San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy biologist.
On March 16, CAASD volunteers will help with native seed collection, planting, and invasive plant removal. Gloves, trash bags, and refreshments will be provided. If you wish, you can bring your own working gloves and a bucket. This is a family-friendly event; children welcome!
