Please join us as we volunteer to participate in Columbia Community Outreach Events Worldwide. Here in San Diego, we will join forces with the “I Love A Clean San Diego” organization to participate in their “14th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup” on Saturday, April 23rd.
Please help and join over 6,000 volunteers for this countywide cleanup project as volunteers will attend over 100+ cleanup sites throughout San Diego County. At last year's event, volunteers removed 180,000 pounds of debris from a record number of cleanup sites countywide.
CAASD chose to help clean-up the walking trails along Point Loma Sunset Cliffs Natural Park starting at 9:00 am and finishing at 11:00 am. Gloves, trash bags, and refreshments will be provided. If you wish, you can bring your own working gloves and a bucket. This is a family-friendly event; children welcome!
Meeting Point @ 9:00 am: 4499 Ladera Street, Point Loma, San Diego - Meet in the parking lot at the corner of Ladera Street and Cornish Drive.
Directions: From I-8: Continue on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Use the right lane to turn left onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Keep left to continue on Cordova St. Turn left onto LaderaStreet. Destination will be on the right.
